Buyer Arbitrage 1.0 Registration Issues

Depending on the system, PC or Mac, Java, and/or antivirus programs that you are using. You may experience difficulty in downloading and installing Buyer Arbitrage 1.0.

First Step for both PC and Mac users:

If you are having trouble registering Buyer Arbitrage 1.0 with your product key:

Close and then reopen the Buyer Arbitrage software. If you copied in your key code try typing it in and vice versa.

If that does not solve the problem then you may need to adjust some settings on your computer.

If you are on a PC
issues that may be causing the problem:


1)Turn off Windows Firewall and see if that helps. Here are some instructions for Windows 7: Navigate to Control Panel->System and Security->Windows Firewall->Turn Windows Firewall on or off, then turn off the firewall.

2) On Windows Vista or Windows 7, turn off User Account Control. Directions are below:

Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Turn-User-Account-Control-on-or-off

3) Right-click on the application icon and select "Run as Administrator".

4) If the above doesn't work, try disabling antivirus software etc.

5) Try registering again.

If you are on a Mac
issues that may be causing the problem:

1) Right-click on the Buyer Arbitrage 1.0 application. Choose "Show Package Contents" from the menu that appears.

2) Navigate to Contents/Resources/Java/data.

3) Right-click on the "customer" directory and choose "Get Info".


4) Make sure that the permissions (under "Sharing & Permissions" at the bottom of the Info window that appears) are all set to "Read & Write". If the permissions are locked and you can't change them, click on the padlock icon in the bottom right corner of the window. Close the Info window.

5) If you're in OS 10.8, you should go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->General and check "Anywhere" under "Allow applications downloaded from".

6) Try registering again.

If you use Norton Security

Temporarily disable Norton auto protect by clicking the Norton icon in the bottom right of screen.

Internet Explorer Smart Screen Issues

Disable Smart Screen by following the instructions at the following link.
